Márqos of Donitai was one of the most successful explorers—if not the most notorious—of those early Third Age adventurers who set out to reclaim Albria. Márqos, the fifth-born son of the founder of the Bandril Merchants, had little chance of making a name for himself. Like his older brothers, he spent the majority of his formative years aboard his family’s ships, staring at the western reaches of Albria as they left the Port of Nódón. His career as an explorer began on the fateful night he stole one of his father's sloops and sailed up the Minor and Major Dread Seas. He spent the rest of his years in fame, yet estranged from his family.
